Product detailed description

The Tendon Alpine 7.9 mm is a universal mountaineering rope built for any terrain — from glaciers and mixed routes to classic multi-pitch climbs. With its 7.9 mm diameter, it’s ideal for experienced climbers and mountain guides who demand maximum safety with minimal weight.

The rope’s special high-visibility design ensures excellent recognition even in challenging conditions such as snow, fog, or twilight. The Complete Shield treatment — a nanotechnology-based Teflon coating — provides the highest level of protection against water, dust, and mechanical wear, significantly increasing the rope’s lifespan and performance in extreme environments.

Thanks to its dual certification, Tendon Alpine 7.9 mm can be used as both a half and twin rope, making it the ultimate companion for alpine and expedition climbing.
