The DMM Halfnuts bring together lightweight efficiency and reliable protection, making them the go-to choice for climbers who demand performance without compromise. Sharing the same proven tapered faces and side profile as DMM’s legendary Wallnuts, they deliver consistent stability and versatility, but at 42% less weight across the full set.

Their reduced width provides a secure fit in shallow cracks, pin scars, and narrow seams, where standard nuts may bottom out. This slimmer profile also offers additional placement options and improved stability in less-than-perfect rock.

To achieve maximum strength and minimum weight, DMM uses different alloys for different sizes. Sizes 1–4 are made from harder aluminum to resist shearing. Sizes 5–11 use a softer alloy to bite better into rock.

Weight is further reduced through single cables on sizes 1–7 and hollow extrusions with dual thinner cables on sizes 8–11. Size 7 even features scooped faces for additional weight savings.
